Cool people doing cool shit

It has recently come to my attention that there are a helluva lot of people in DC doing cool things. When I say cool, I'm not necessarily talking sex, drugs and rock n' roll. I'm talking about getting involved, creating, producing documentaries, supporting green/eco-friendly ventures and products, connecting, making art, and occasionally, changing the world. What I've also come to realize it that there doesn't seem to be one "portal" so to speak where you can find out about all of these goings on. So because I am currently "between jobs" and a nosy journalist at heart, I figured I might as well keep track of these interesting nuggets all in one place.
